2020坎城XR市場展因應全球疫情，今年調整為線上形式辦理，舉辦為期三天的線上活動(6/24-6/26)，包含放映、論壇、創投會議等。由坎城市場展、美國翠貝卡影展、XR募資平台萬花筒(Kaleidoscope)、VR線上放映平台Veer VR與The Museum of Other Realities(MOR)共同合作，以成為XR生態圈之加速器為目標，推動沉浸式科技與作品體驗，串聯故事創作者和影視產業，幫助世界各地之XR創作者和體驗者持續拓展新關係。
為方便未持有VR裝置之產業人士有機會欣賞本年度坎城XR市場展放映作品，坎城XR市場展邀請世界各地的專業VR線下放映據點合作，提供更多觀眾觀影機會。
作為臺灣唯一的指定合作實體放映場地，高雄VR體感劇院與駁二藝術特區合作，將於今年6月24日(三)起至7月3日(五)，舉辦10天邀請制放映，於駁二C9倉庫，開放臺灣VR產業人士及創作者進行預約觀影，精彩片庫包含多達50支VR作品。

To adapt to the particular international situation, The Marché du Film, Tribeca, Kaleidoscope, The Museum of Other Realities and Veer VR have partnered this year, to reshape a groundbreaking event online and in virtual reality: Cannes XR Virtual (24-26 June 2020), a 3-day program fully dedicated to immersive technologies and works, in connection with the art of storytelling and the film industry. Cannes XR Virtual aims to be a genuine growth accelerator for the XR ecosystem with conducting screenings, forums, and film project promotion, which foster ties between XR players internationally, helping them to promote and develop their activities in collaboration with the film industry.
A network of partner Location Based Entertainment (LBE) in several major cities in the United States, China and France will offer access to Cannes XR Virtual to journalists and guests who do not have a VR headset.
As the only designated cooperative screening venue in Taiwan, the Kaohsiung VR Film Lab and the Pier 2 Art Center will hold a 10-day screening event from 24 June (Wed) to 3 July (Fri) 2020 at the C9 warehouse. Cannes XR Virtual presents more than 50 VR works and is opened to VR industrial professionals and creators in Taiwan. To consider the majority’s rights, the event adopts a reservation system in which each individual can reserve a maximum of 1 hour (a total of 2 sessions) to experience.

1. TRIBECA IMMERSIVE SHOWCASE │ 翠貝卡影展XR互動片單 (12部作品)
本片單由2020 Tribeca Immersive策畫，包含原訂於今年上半年展出之世界首映作品。
2. VEER 360 CINEMA AWARD │ VeeR VR360片單 (13部作品)
本片單由全球通用之VR娛樂平台VeeR策畫，本片單精選VR360作品，鼓勵創作者開拓沉浸式敘事的疆界，將會自片單中選出一件作品頒發「VeeR未來獎」。
3. CANNES XR DEVELOPMENT SHOWCASE │ 坎城市場展作品原型展映 (23部作品)
與XR募資平台萬花筒(Kaleidoscope)合作，挑選出23件引領最新AR、VR潮流的發展中作品，並安排團隊與具有代表性的產業人士、製作人、發行商、策展者進行一對一面談。
4. POSITRON VISIONARY AWARD │ POSITRON視野獎（6部作品）
集結國際優秀導演、藝術家、創作者之作品，將從此片單作品挑選出評審團特別獎「 Best Cinematic XR」。
